Day 1 | Welcome to Argentina
Your private guide will be at Ezeiza International Airport ready to give you a kind welcome to Buenos Aires, helping you to familiarize with Argentina and answering any question you might have about your trip plan.
After a private ride of one hour approximately, you will be arriving at the selected hotel.
Check in and have the rest of the day at leisure to explore the city on your own.

Day 2 | The South of Silence
Pick up at your hotel and private transfer to the airport to take your flight to Esquel city.
Upon arrival, a driver will meet you at the airport for a transfer to HUEMULES Mountain Lodge.
The ride is around one hour.
Huemules Mountain Reserve is a tourist project located in Estancia Huemules, on the Rivadavia Mountain Range, 22km from Esquel, Chubut province. It will provide the purest contact with nature without leaving aside the comfort of a big room with private bathroom, Patagonian cuisine and the kindest service, as well as a wide variety of adventurous activities within the marvelous view of our Patagonia. The lodge offers accommodation in exclusive domes, day activities and full board meals with natural water from Huemules Reserve, wine or beer during lunch and dinner.
Rooms are surrounded by Nature. The unique experience of sleeping in the forest implies feeling how the wind caresses the lenga tree branches, hearing the birds warble and the water flowing in the creek. The domes’ layout was designed to allow maximum privacy. Each guest has his own private deck with open views from his room.
There is also a bar open during the stay with selected alcoholic beverages. Premium wines and drinks may be chosen à la carte and will have an additional cost.

Day 3 | Discovering The Andes Forests in the Valley of Silence
To explore lenga and ñire forests, climb snowy mountains, cross melting streams and discover new landscapes of the imposing Patagonia at every step. In the tours we can see different species of local fauna: woodpeckers, caiquens, condors, foxes and deer, among other species.
On the first leg of this excursion, you will traverse forests, prairies and creeks, ascending during the whole journey along a smooth upward slope until you reach an old outpost located in a small valley, where you’ll make the first stop in the old cattle farmyard. From then on the ascent is made along a steep slope on the lenga forest; at first at a very high altitude but then at a lower height until reaching an elevation of 1600 m. From there, you will continue climbing until the ridge where you will be able to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views towards the West and South that include the snowcapped peaks of the Cordillera de los Andes, the southernmost tip of the Fuatalaufquen Lake and, towards the South, the Trafipan and Larga lakes together with the 16de Octubre valley.
Breakfast: To start the morning with energies we offer a typical buffet breakfast with hot infusions and freshly squeezed seasonal juices. We have a selection of a la carte eggs and croissants, homemade breads and jams along with cereals, yogurts and fruits from the region.
Lunch: It is the rest between activities and always enjoying nature, lunches in Huemules are an invitation to know and enjoy the typical Patagonian cooking techniques where the protagonist is fire. Lamb to the cross, typical Argentine roast accompanied by seasonal vegetables and vegetable salads from our garden are an example of what we offer to recharge and continue enjoying the day in the mountains.
Snack time: Upon arrival of the excursions, in the warm atmosphere of the restaurant, the snack will allow us to recover forces with hot infusions, fine doughs, chocolates and fruits, which will help us relax and start sharing experiences and prepare to live the magical sunsets.
Dinner: For dinner we offer the regional dishes characteristic of Patagonia, native products, steer meat and Patagonian lamb, trout, game meat, prepared respecting traditional and local recipes. All accompanied by an exquisite selection of Patagonian wines and the world to celebrate the day lived in nature.

Day 4 | Riding the Cross
Today you will enjoy a full day of horseback riding through the forests of the Huemules Reserve.
The first leg of the ride takes place in the low canyon of the Huemules creek, in a moderately slanted slope until you reach the old mine.
At that point, you will start a steep zigzag ascent on the hillside towards the ridge, and reach the perfect place for the animals to rest.
At that point you will be able to enjoy wonderful views of the East and West and luckily, have the unique possibility of seeing wild condors.
The return hike is actually done through a steep downward slope towards the old Huemules Norte reservoir, where you’ll start the final descent traversing winding creeks fed by melting snow that form incredible vertical waterfalls to finally retake the mining trail that traverses the forests until the base.

Day 5 | Scenic Route to Puyuhuapi
Change of scenary: today you will drive all the way to Puyuhuapi located in Chile, passing through Futaleufu.
Just the drive there is considered a complete immersive experience, disconnecting with everything and disappearing into the Fjords of Patagonia.
The Puyuhuapi lodge is only accessible by water, emerging you into the depths of the earth.
Even though this is the only way getting to your Lodge, the 6-hour drive there is considered to be a complete full day excursion, driving through dozens of different landscapes and arriving in a place of well-being, adventure, disconnect and love and respect of the environment.
The setting offered by the fjords and Queulat National Park are sublime, while the extraordinary botanical variation, the summits and snowdrifts are terrific.
Navigate the quiet waters using sea kayaks, through channels and between islands, looking out for bird colonies and marine mammals like sea lions and bottlenose dolphins, or walk through semi-magical, fairy-tale like forests with lichens, fungi, mosses, ferns and flowers, before taking in spectacular views of the area, where the glaciers and lakes are the protagonists.
Back at the lodge, you can enjoy the thermal waters and complete spa offering of relaxing massages and thalassotherapy sessions to unwind after a day full of excursions and impressions. Refined gastronomy with regional, fresh seafood and vegetables from our own greenhouse, along with a selection of fine Chilean wines, round off the day’s experience. At night, don´t miss the outside hot-spring pools under Patagonian skies.
Today you will be served breakfast at Hueumules before departing and will bring a lunch box along with you for the long road, stopping in the middle of the journey to have lunch in front of breathtaking views.
Dinner will be served at the lodge: The gastronomy in Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa is defined as a fusion of flavors that mix typical Patagonian and Chilean preparations with Mediterranean cooking. With the aim of optimizing supply logistics, the exquisite and delicate daily menus are made up of two alternatives that include starter, main course and dessert, where products, flavors, textures and colors are combined, and all this accompanied by a fine selection of Chilean wines.

Day 6 | Complete Nature Immersion Visiting the Hanging Glacier
This trip starts by crossing the fjord in a motorboat to our pier on Carretera Austral.
Then you shall continue during 15 minutes in a vehicle to the Ventisquero Colgante area of Queulat National Park.
The Ventisquero River runs throughout the glacial moraine valley molded by the Hanging Glacier.
At short distance from the area’s authorized parking area, and after having passed the hanging bridge that crosses the river, the path that penetrates the beginning of the woods opens out and then goes round the valley created by the moraine.

Day 7 | Enchanted Lagoons and Forests
With extraordinary botanical variation, this path is located on one of the highest points of the Carretera Austral.
A one-hour drive is needed from the jetty of the Lodge.
The extensive and steep snowcaps of Queulat, together with the damp vegetation that cover the lower valleys, represent the spirit of this journey.
The summits and snowdrifts are amazing on the slopes located to the south of Queulat National Park.
The walk starts by penetrating through the lush forest in which you find bizarre lichens, fungi, mosses, algae, ferns, and numerous flowers that accompany this route.
The path advances for almost 2 km before reaching the Cascadas River.
The road continues across the valley, which offers spectacular panoramas of the area.
Then Los Gnomos Lagoon appears, from which the river is born.
The shores are approached by an impressive and steep granite structure upon which the snowdrift sits. The footprints of time can be recognized on the rocks, following the movement of the mass. Often some chunks of the millenary ice fall into the lagoon.

Day 8 | Along The Austral Road
Today you will drive out to the Balmaceda Airport from where you will take a flight to Puerto Varas, a town situated in the called “lake region” of Patagonia.
You will just be staying here for a night.
Breakfast will be served at the Puyuhuapi Lodge before departure.

Day 9 | Crossing The Andes By Water
Today you will cross back over to Argentina through a fun day boat excursion.
A unique crossing, sailing through The Andes Mountains across three beautiful lakes that are connected by four overland legs, from Puerto Varas in Chile to San Carlos de Bariloche in Argentina.
A journey that can enjoyed on any day of the year, exploring the beauty of mountainous landscapes that takes you through the most colorful region of the Patagonia.
Arriving to Argentina in just one day, you have the option of extending your trip to two days or more with accommodation at the midway point in Puella and/or Puerto Blest.
You will arrive in Bariloche and will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 10 | Views Of Bariloche Lakes
It is without a doubt one of the most complete walks. Appreciate the activity while enjoying one of the most amazing panoramic views in the world. The starting point of this walk is the Llao Llao hill; during the tour we cross a beautiful forest with panoramic points from which we can see and take pictures of the beautiful landscape. The duration of the walk is 2 hours approximately (around 6 km). Once the trek is finished, we go by car to Cerro Campanario; during the journey, we stop at different panoramic points from where you can see the Llao Llao peninsula and its famous hotel. The chairlift of the Campanario hill elevates it “to the right height of amazement” so that you can enjoy the most beautiful view of the area; National Geographic classified it as the seventh most beautiful view in the world! Once we descend, our guide will take us back to hotel.

Day 11 | Water And Land Adventures In Bariloche
A wide variety of trails cross pristine forests, rocks, cliffs, alluviums, hills and extraordinary waterfalls with wonderful views over Gutiérrez and Mascardi lakes and an old folding on the other side of the lake. Several trails lead to different waterfalls and longer circuits connect different viewpoints.
We will make a 1.30 hours trekking along a path that will take us to the Mascardi Lake viewpoint and the water division, an area full of history.
We will rest at the top, and we will delight ourselves with a lunch box that the guide will carry ready in his backpack and prepared in an Estancia where the meals are balanced, delicious and healthy, based on homemade products.
After lunch we will descend to the Estancia Bay and after a short rest we will give way to specialists in kayaking in the National Park.
After an instructive talk about the equipment and kayak management, the guide will lead the passengers in a safe and pleasant way. They will explore the wonderful crystalline waters and virgin coasts of Gutiérrez, and
we row back to the Estancia. After having lived a day of intense contact with nature and extreme fun, we will return to the city.

Day 12 | Return To Buenos Aires
Transfer from your hotel in Bariloche to the airport for your return flight to Buenos Aires.
Upon arrival, reception at the airport and private transfer to the hotel.
Enjoy your afternoon at leisure and get ready to say goodbye to Argentina with a special dinner experience at the closed-door restaurant EL FOGON.

Every Argentine’s Asado is unique but always includes the best cuts of meat available and fire roasted seasonal vegetables. Our chefs have designed the tasting menu to combine new grill techniques with tried and true Argentine recipes, that elevate the Asado to new heights. Our optional wine pairing menu has also been designed to best enhance the flavors of the ingredients, while presenting you with some of the best boutique wines from Argentina.
Dinner includes:
Welcome cocktail & olives. First Course/Empanada: we start with a great Argentine empanada cooked over open coals served with a citric chutney. Second Course/Chorizo & Morcilla: a modern twist on two Argentine Classics: Morcilla with quince chutney and chorizo with flaming roasted bell pepper all together served on a griddle baked bread. Third Course/Provoleta Cheese & Matambre: Caramelized provoleta cheese with flame-roasted ratatouille and glazed pork belly (Matambrito) with a yellow chili sauce and lime and cilantro salad. Fourth Course/The Seasonable One: Our chef selects a seasonable treat depending on what he discovers in local markets. Main Course/Steak Three Ways: Three cuts of Argentine grass fed beef prepared using three distinct cooking techniques. Dessert/Pancakes of Dulce de Leche and Coffee: The pancakes are made and caramelized in front of our guests. Coffee is done directly on the fire.

Day 13 | Departure
At indicated time, pick up at your hotel and private transfer to Santiago International Airport to take you flight back.
