After a private ride of one hour approximately, you will be arriving at the selected hotel. Check in and have the rest of the day at leisure to explore the city on your own.

Day 3 | Panoramic View of the Brazil Falls

The Iguazu Falls are the largest water system in the world due to its location in the middle of the Brazilian and Argentinian Jungle. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage, Iguazu offers many different and all unique landscapes.

After picking you up from your hotel in Puerto Iguazu, we’ll transfer to the Visitors Center, get off the bus and walk along the pathways. From the first balcony we’ll witness a panoramic view of the Argentinean Falls, from where you can take wonderful pictures. Then after enjoying sweeping views of the 950-meter-long curve of the falls on the Argentina side, we’ll visit the falls on the Brazilian side. Due to its location, the Brazilian Side offers a unique point of view and a one of a kind occasion to take amazing pictures of the constant rainbow floating above the water, in the canyons. Then, you can go up the elevator and stairs to access the shopping and restaurant area on top of the balconies. As the the path includes many stairs, there is some degree of difficulty.

After relaxing and taking pictures, we will take you back to your hotel in Puerto Iguazu, on the Argentinian Side.

Day 4 | Devil's Throat and Great Adventure

Early pick up from the hotel.

Full Day visiting the Argentine waterfalls.

Great Adventure Navigation to the most famous waterfall (Devil’s Throat) is included. The Argentina Falls Park preserves 67.000 hectares of giant trees, vines and ferns living with multi-coloured butterflies, birds and other mammals, all of them part of the rich local flora and fauna.

The park was declared Natural World Heritage in 1984, due to its scenic beauties and the great biological diversity of the subtropical jungle. The famous falls are in the heart of this Park.

We start the visit at the Local Museum and continue the tour with the Lower Trail, from where we can see among others, the “Two sisters Falls”, the “Bossetti Fall”, the “Hidden Fall”, a panoramic view of “San Martin island” and the “Union Fall”. Later we walk the Upper Trail shifting along walkways located above major falls up to the majestic “San Martin Fall” from where we have a panoramic view of the Brazilian falls. Finally, we go with the Train of the Jungle up to “Devil’s Throat” station. From there, after 1,000 meters of walking along the catwalks, we come to the spectacular “Devil’s Throat”, where the Iguazu river speaks with all its strength and the falling water gives the illusion of magical rainbows.

And now is time for The Great Adventure!

A unique experience that combines the whole essence of the Iguassu National Park in one ride: the jungle and the waterfalls. It is offered daily every full hour, and the departures are from the Head Office or The Visitors Center. It starts by entering the jungle from the “Sendero Yacaratía” trail with special transportation that allows a panoramic view of the environment along with experienced guides that give a lot of explanations as well as the legend of this spectacular place.

After an 8 km truck ride, we arrive at the Puerto Macuco Base, which is 100 meters away from the Infirmary and Service Station, and 100 meters of stairs ahead is the floating platform where the second part of this ride begins. With motor-boats, we take visitors 6 km through the Canyon of the Iguassu River, until the falls, with 2 km of rapid rivers. After enjoying the view from the calm side of San Martin Island we sail to the “Tres Mosqueteros” waterfall, at that point, the Brazilian and Argentinean sides and the Devil’s Throat can be clearly appreciated.

After that, we sail along the shore of the island until we get to the most exciting part where we face the San Martin waterfall, a wonderful and unforgettable experience, for it’s the largest waterfall any motor-boat can approach safely. The landing is at the base of the lower circuit where visitors reintegrate the trails.

You disembark on the opposite shore, where specialized bilingual mountain guides welcome you and lead you to a small shelter. After checking the last details, groups of not more than 20, follow their guides along the lake’s shore towards the edge of the glacier. Once on the ice the guides give each participant a pair of crampons, and explain how to use them.

The two-hour circuit that follows introduces you to the fascinating landscape of the glaciers: streams, small lagoons, gullies, crevasses and plenty of ice formations of the most incredible blues. The ice surface over which you walk is irregular, but firm and safe.
