Day 2 | Buenos Aires Discovery
Today, explore some of the top spots in Buenos Aires on a private city tour.
This tour can be adapted to your personal interests and tastes.
Your guide will pick you up in the morning at the hotel to visit some of the following areas and sites:
Plaza de Mayo is home to the national government palace and the Metropolitan Cathedral. This historical, political, and foundational epicenter of the city is a great starting point for the city tour.
One of the oldest neighborhoods in Buenos Aires is San Telmo, which is a great area to visit if you’re interested in tango and the arts. The antique markets, candle streetlighting, cobbled roads, and historic buildings with original facades and décor create a lovely bohemian atmosphere. Sundays buzz with activity as the main antique market comes alive around the Plaza Dorrego.
You can also visit La Boca, a neighborhood famous for its brightly-painted houses and coventillos (communal housing tenements). It’s also home to the legendary Boca Juniors Football Club, where Diego Maradona made his name.
The city’s youngest neighborhood is Puerto Madero, which is situated on the riverside along the Río de la Plata. This major gastronomic and business hub is situated in former commercial docks. Along the canals, these former industrial warehouses were converted into elegant bars, eateries, and offices during one of the most successful urban waterfront restoration projects in the world.
Palermo, the largest neighborhood, hosts huge parks and some of Buenos Aires’ trendiest bars, clubs, and fashion boutiques. This neighborhood—which has nearly 350 acres of parks, lakes, and wooded areas—offers a peaceful retreat from the busy city.
The European style district, Recoleta, is home to an array of fashionable restaurants, cafés, boutiques, malls, and luxury hotels, which reside along tree-lined avenues.
One of the main attractions, The Cemetery, is the final resting place for generations of well-known Argentineans, including Evita Peron.
After your personalized tour, head back to your hotel to relax.
· The tour is around 4 hours. Lunch is not included.
In the evening, it’s our special welcome to Argentina with a unique Dinner & Show at
GALA TANGO.
This is one of the most exclusive places in Buenos Aires to enjoy an authentic show.
With a beautiful décor and architecture down to the finest detail, it seems as though you have stepped into the 1930s, helping to create an experience that you will never forget.
The Gala Tango venue takes place in the neighborhood of San Telmo which, being one of the oldest in Buenos Aires, is considered the cradle of tango.
For an hour and half, you will enjoy more than 30 artists on stage, a live orchestra and four couples dancing to the rhythm of the music.
Besides tango, you will also witness a performance of traditional folk Argentine dance.
The dinner offers a variety of hot or cold starters, a choice of eight different main courses and desserts that will also be accompanied by a good choice of champagne and wine from one of the most exclusive wineries in Argentina.
· Regular pick up and drop off at the hotel is included.

Upon arrival, a driver will give welcome you and transfer you to BAHIA BUSTAMANTE LODGE.
Bahía Bustamante is a seaside village entirely surrounded by nature. It is located on the northern arch of San Jorge Gulf, an area characterized by its relevant biological biodiversity. There are few places in the world that house such an amount and diversity of seabirds and marine mammals.
Enjoy a 360 view and a deep blue sea which contrasts with red rocks, a petrified forest, sea and steppe birds, sea lions, killer whales and dolphins, guanacos, Patagonian hares, lighthouses, starry skies, aboriginal working areas and cemeteries.
And, above all, this remote and exclusive village on the Patagonian seaside offers you a completely different kind of place – a place full of peace and safety. Built way back in the sixties, the facilities were redesigned to accommodate guests without modifying the original structures.
From the houses that afford a wonderful sea view, you can enjoy unforgettable sunsets, moon risings on the bay, a unique atmosphere and a rich marine fauna. In the coastal area, the landscapes are very varied.
The coasts of Bahía Bustamante and Malaspina Cove have the greatest diversity of seabirds in all Patagonia. There are 21 breeding colonies, made up of around one to seven seabird species. The islands and islets of this region, noted for their diversity of flora and substratum, and the richness of the marine fauna, create ideal conditions for the seabirds to reproduce.
You will also find colonies of a varied number of birds, such as cormorants, ducks, herons, gulls, terns, petrels, skuas, among many others.
The richness of the area also attracts the presence of killer whales, dolphins and Commerson’s dolphin.
By going around the area, you will be surprised to see all kinds of regional animals that live in the Patagonian steppe. Maras, lesser rheas and guanacos usually come across the traveler’s way and, occasionally, some restless armadillo or skunk may lean out of a thorny bush. The sunset is the best moment to watch a great variety of birds, tinamous and even some grey fox.

The museum also owns a telescope that allows the study of stars by night.
At The Club you will find a game room with a pool, ping-pong table, foosball table and at the Bar & Living room you will find a perfect venue for reading or simply watch the sea through the immense windows. Day 6 | Transfer to Punta Ninfas
A driver will meet you at the hotel for a private transfer to an authentic lodge on the edge of the Patagonia coast: EL PEDRAL.
El Pedral Lodge is the perfect place to be in close contact with nature: the sea and the vastness of the Patagonic virgen coastal landscapes will surprise you with the stone and sand beaches, the cliffs and the dunes.
It is located in Punta Ninfas, the only natural place from which the whales that are visiting the bay can be sighted. The vast rocky beaches shelter a great variety of sea and land animals while the steppe is the habitat of local animals like: maras, martinetas, guanacos, ñandues (south american ostrich), piches and sheep.
This traditional farm is a few meters away from the ocean and it stands out in the landscape. Norman architecture prevails in the main house as it was built in the nineteenth century. The furniture is typical of that time. The main bedroom has a bathroom, a bookshelf contains books in English and Spanish that invite you to read by the fireplace.
Those seeking to discover the local fauna will find in El Pedral the best place to stay.
The lodge is open from mid-September to mid-April. Whale season is from June to December.
· Accommodation, full board meals and activities included.
Overnight: El Pedral Hotel
Day 7 | Whales & Penguins
Enjoy this day to see the local marine fauna in its natural habitat.
PENGUINS: In the year 2009, the first 14 Magellanic penguins’ couples conquered the shore of El Pedral.
The colony developed so rapidly that this year the colony achieved the number of 5,000 individuals.
The best time of the day to visit the penguins’ colony is during sunset, as animals are more active. This, together with the presence of other sea birds and the view of the golden cliff-lined shore enclosed by the blue sea, make up an amazing natural scenario.
ELEPHANT SEALS: The beach at the foot of Punta Ninfas’ cliff is the natural habitat of an important rookery of elephant seals, where they can be observed in small groups throughout of the year.
In mid-September, male individuals arrive to ‘mark their territory’ in order to start making up their harems and increasing them.
After driving for only 15 minutes from the house, we arrive at the end of the road leading to the Punta Ninfas lighthouse, where we will finally get to a pathway down to the beach.
Once on the coast, we will be able to walk along the beach and watch these animals closely. Please, remember that it is very important not to bother them.
Therefore, it is highly recommended to advance slowly in a crouch position, in order to be able to obtain good pictures but without making them feel attacked or invaded.
WHALE WATCHING: This is an hour and a half long excursion in the “Golfo Nuevo” for the whale watching of Southern Right whales. The starting point is Puerto Pirámides, in the Peninsula Valdes.
During the tour we will travel within a radius of 10 miles, depending on the position of the animals.
In addition to contemplating beautiful coastal landscapes, you will observe sea lions in their stalls and species of birds typical of the Patagonian coast.
The company Southern Spirit Cruises offers the service (transfers and entrance to the Peninsula Valdés Protected Natural Area are not included). Valid during the entire stay at the destination.
· Accommodation, full board meals and activities included.

Day 8 | Enjoy the Lodge
Some of the visits you can explore during your stay are:
PUNTA NINFAS LIGHTHOUSE: Departing from the country house and after driving for only 8 km, we will get close to the typical high cliffs of the Península Valdés coasts.
The Punta Ninfas’ lighthouse is located at the south end of the Golfo Nuevo’s mouth, where you will be able to see breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the gulf, as well.
Visiting this place is an excellent program to contemplate the sunset or the moonrise reflected on the sea.
THE BEACH: A dream place to enjoy the Patagonian sea with your family or friends.
The pebble shore (pedral in Spanish) is a unique geological formation in Patagonia, made up by a beach of pebbles of about 9,000 meters long, 900 meters wide and 8 meters in depth. Depending on the time of the year, you will be able to watch from the beach the wonderful show offered by southern right whales, which get close to the seaside due to the profound depth of those waters.
They can be observed during the whole whales watching season (till end of December).
During the summer and if you are lucky enough, you will also be able to watch killer whales at Punta Ninfas.
Even when the killer whale is an animal highly unpredictable, it is possible to watch it during this period, as it is the feeding season of elephant seals’ and sea lions’ calves.
In the summer, you can also sunbathe and dive in the sea.
Days are very warm (25 °C / 32 °C) and the temperature of the water in the coast is about 16 °C / 18 °C.
SELF GUIDED TRAILS: Without the aid of a tour guide, passengers can also ride a bike or just go for a walk to enjoy fauna observation and discover the different panoramic views of El Pedral. For that purpose, we have marked several circuits across the field.
Please note that ‘mate’ kits, sticks and trekking bags to carry babies will be at your disposal for your own comfort.
SWIMMING POOL & SOCCER FIELD: They are located in a sheltered and small, but very nice forest of eucalyptuses, fruit trees and tamarisks.
In the afternoon, we can watch many birds posing on the branches of the trees ready to spend the night.
RELAX: The warmth provided by the wood stove, the quietness feeling in the living room or even the fresh air perceived in the shadows of the house’s gallery, make this place one-of-a-kind for moments of relaxation.
Also the attic of the house, with its comfortable armchair and splendid view, offers an ideal place to enjoy some book from our library.
· Accommodation, full board meals and activities included.

Your guide will pick you up at your hotel to enjoy in the morning a private navigation around the Paraná River Delta, formed by thousands of islands, many of which maintain their original state, while others are inhabited and full of weekend houses.
Join us to discover more than 100 species of birds and water plants; virgin nature and infinite horizons with the exclusivity of a typical delta vessel: a flat boat, the “Afrodita” – an old island flatboat built in the middle of last century, that was restored and refurbished respecting its original spirit. The vessel has different spaces in its two decks as well as a wide cabin, wood covered interior, big spaces and great comfort. Everyone finds their place in the boat, either under the sun or inside.
Departing from San Fernando Port depending on the weather and water level, the captain will define the route, either sailing towards the Rio de la Plata, or sailing the Luján River, the Vinculación Canal, and other hundreds of rivers and streams that are part of the Delta.
In each navigation experience, Afrodita stops to drop the anchor to enjoy an excellent lunch meal service.
Once the boat is anchored, you may take a bath in the river, swim, or just relax on the lifeboat. Listening to good music, reading, playing cards, enjoying a good meal; it’s all part of the experience on board. It’s a good time to observe the birds such as the heron starting to fly slowly while spreading its big wings, or the kingfisher waiting patiently from a branch to dive into the water and catch a fish
Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
The time excursion is around 5 to 6 hours’ duration. Lunch is included.
