Today, explore some of the top spots in Buenos Aires on a private city tour.
This tour can be adapted to your personal interests and tastes.
Your guide will pick you up in the morning at the hotel to visit some of the following areas and sites:
Plaza de Mayo is home to the national government palace and the Metropolitan Cathedral. This historical, political, and foundational epicenter of the city is a great starting point for the city tour.
One of the oldest neighborhoods in Buenos Aires is San Telmo, which is a great area to visit if you’re interested in tango and the arts. The antique markets, candle streetlighting, cobbled roads, and historic buildings with original facades and décor create a lovely bohemian atmosphere. Sundays buzz with activity as the main antique market comes alive around the Plaza Dorrego.
You can also visit La Boca, a neighborhood famous for its brightly-painted houses and coventillos (communal housing tenements). It’s also home to the legendary Boca Juniors Football Club, where Diego Maradona made his name.
The city’s youngest neighborhood is Puerto Madero, which is situated on the riverside along the Río de la Plata. This major gastronomic and business hub is situated in former commercial docks. Along the canals, these former industrial warehouses were converted into elegant bars, eateries, and offices during one of the most successful urban waterfront restoration projects in the world.
Palermo, the largest neighborhood, hosts huge parks and some of Buenos Aires’ trendiest bars, clubs, and fashion boutiques. This neighborhood—which has nearly 350 acres of parks, lakes, and wooded areas—offers a peaceful retreat from the busy city.
The European style district, Recoleta, is home to an array of fashionable restaurants, cafés, boutiques, malls, and luxury hotels, which reside along tree-lined avenues.
One of the main attractions, The Cemetery, is the final resting place for generations of well-known Argentineans, including Evita Peron.
After your personalized tour, head back to your hotel to relax.
*The tour is around 4 hours. Lunch is not included.
In the evening, get dinner at CASA COUPAGE and learn about the breadth of Argentine wine with a sommelier as your guide.

Day 8 | Cafayate Wine Experience
Discover today all the secrets and the magic of this Argentina wine country.
A private guide will meet you at the hotel to visit three of the most important wineries in the area:
YACOCHUYA: Yancochuya wines have become a typical exponent of Argentinian enology in a few years.
This vineyard is located 2,035 meters over sea level, which makes its terroir something unique and matchless. This was thought by the famous Pomerol enologist Michel Rolland when he joined Arnaldo Etchart to exploit 16 hectares spreading on the slopes of the Salta pre-mountain range.
The 60-year-old red varieties grow in the “espaldero” modality -vine rows consisting of two stakes, one at each end, joined by wires to guide growth in a vertical direction. They are irrigated by furrows with spring waters.
The sun, the temperature amplitude and the characteristics of a soil blessed by its richness give it the final details to make them unique in their kind.
LOS CARDONES: Estancia Los Cardones is a lone vineyard appellation located high on the eastern slopes of the valley.
The soil profile is very rocky, with abundant splintered shale surface stones with crushed mica, lending savory minerality to the wines. An elevation of 5,900’ leads to very intense sunlight, producing concentrated, thick skinned Malbec.
Cold mountain nights ensure excellent natural acid retention, imparting freshness, elegance and balance.
Make a complete guided tour following the grape path from the vineyard to the glass. Start walking the property land and identify the soil characteristics. Continue into the winery and learn the whole productive process. Conclude the tour underground, where the wine cellar is located, and you will see how is the aging in oak barrels.
PIATELLI: This winery has been producing outstanding wines relying on the exceptional landscape of Cafayate, which is also the highest wine-making region in the world.
At Piattelli, they are passionately committed to making the most authentic wine from the region in which the grapes originate, with minimal interference in the process.
The new labels and wines were created out of a deep respect and affection for the region, and the wine showcases the untamed Valle Calchaquíes, where the Andes snow-cap water, free-draining sandy soils and high altitudes give birth to our grapes.
The winemakers at Piattelli have demonstrated their outstanding viticultural practices in the undoubtable quality of these excellent wines.
Becoming one of the most modern winery in the area, it features a restaurant with a panoramic observation deck that overlooks the town.
We invite you to have lunch with a stunning view and a refined atmosphere.
