Day 1 | Welcome to Argentina
Your private guide will be at Ezeiza International Airport ready to give you a kind welcome to Buenos Aires, helping you to familiarize with Argentina and answering any question you might have about your trip plan.
After a private ride of one hour approximately, you will be arriving at the selected hotel.
For a special goodbye dinner, we invite you to discover all the secrets of the traditional Argentina cuisine at EL FOGON.
Discover the Asado tradition, served with a twist having a closed-door dining experience that explores new ways of serving Argentine Asado classics.
While seated at our bar you’ll see, feel and experience different grill cooking techniques, up close and personal. We aim to create a memorable evening for each guest, beyond your regular steakhouse expectations. We sit up to 30 people a night, all seats are within three meters of the grill and our chef is at your disposal to showcase what cooking with fire is all about.
We will welcome you in our specially designed restaurant, where guests sit at the bar and have a clear view of the custom-made “parrilla” grill.
Dinner includes:
Welcome cocktail & olives.
First Course: Empanada – We start with a great Argentine empanada cooked over open coals served with a citric chutney.
Second Course: Chorizo & Morcilla. Morcilla – Quince Chutney Chorizo – Flame roasted bell pepper with griddle baked bread.
Third Course: Provoleta Cheese & Matambre Caramelized provolone cheese – Flame-roasted ratatouille – Glazed pork belly (Matambrito) – Yellow chilli sauce – Lime and cilantro salad.
Fourth Course: Mollejas
Fifth Course: Steak Three Ways – Three cuts of Argentine grass fed beef prepared using three distinct cooking techniques.
Dessert: Pancakes of Dulce de Leche and Coffee, cooked over the fire.
Drinks: Welcome cocktail, water & coffee/tea.

Day 2 | Buenos Aires Experience
In the morning your guide will pick you up to explore some of the top spots in Buenos Aires in a 4 hours’ private tour.
Plaza de Mayo: which is home to the national government palace & the Metropolitan Cathedral. This historical, political, and foundational epicenter of the city is a great starting point for the city tour.
One of Buenos Aires’ oldest neighborhoods, San Telmo, which boasts a vibrant tango and arts scene. Its antique markets, candle street lighting, cobblestone roads, and old buildings with original facades and décor create a lovely bohemian atmosphere. Sundays buzz with activity as the main antique market comes alive around the Plaza Dorrego.
You will visit La Boca, a neighborhood famous for its brightly-painted houses and coventillos (communal housing tenements) as well as for being home to the legendary Boca Juniors football club where Diego Maradona made his name.
You will also visit the city’s youngest neighborhood, Puerto Madero, which is situated on the riverside along the Río de la Plata. This major gastronomic and business hub is situated in former commercial docks.
Along the canals, these former industrial warehouses were converted into elegant bars, eateries, and offices during one of the most successful urban waterfront restoration projects in the world.
Palermo, the largest neighborhood in town, is home to huge parks as well as some of Buenos Aires’ trendiest bars, clubs, and fashion boutiques. This neighborhood—which has nearly 350 acres (142 hectares) of parks, lakes, and wooded areas—offers a peaceful retreat from the busyness further in the city.
The European style district, Recoleta, is home to an array of fashionable restaurants, cafés, boutiques, malls, and luxury hotels which you’ll find along tree-lined avenues. One of the main attractions, The Cemetery, is the final resting place for generations of well-known Argentinians including Evita Peron.
In the evening, a unique Dinner & Show at GALA TANGO, one of the most exclusive places in town for an authentic show. With a beautiful décor and architecture down to the finest detail, it seems as though you have stepped into the 1930s, helping to create an experience that you will never forget. For an hour and half, you will enjoy more than 30 artists on stage, a live orchestra and four couples dancing to the rhythm of the music.
Besides tango, you will also witness a performance of traditional folk Argentine dance.
The dinner offers a variety of hot or cold starters, a choice of eight different main courses and desserts that will also be accompanied by a good choice of champagne and wine from one of the most exclusive wineries in Argentina.

Day 3 | A Day In The Countryside
Enjoy a 250 acres fully working farm just one hour and a half from Buenos Aires. It is settled in the Humid Pampas, a geography featured by its flat and fertile grassland.
The natural vegetation comprises meadows of high grass with isolated forests (locally referred to as Montes).
You will be greeted by the staff, who will take you to the reception to enjoy some Empanadas and drinks (a glass of wine, soda, or lemonade).
We will spend the rest of the morning enjoying the Estancia and its quiet surroundings with different activities to choose from, such as guided walks or horseback riding through the Estancia among others. At noon we will taste a delicious traditional Asado with different varieties of meat, vegetables, and salads accompanied by non-alcoholic drinks, a simple dessert, and coffee.
We will have free time to walk around during the afternoon and learn a little more about life in the countryside and enjoy a Pampean Tea with traditional pastries.

Day 4 | Navigation To Uruguay
Pick up at the hotel and private transfer to the city tourist port to take a one-hour ferry to Uruguay.
After crossing the Rio de La Plata, you will be reaching the UNESCO World Heritage City of “Colonia del Sacramento”.
Reception at the port and private transfer to your hotel.

Day 5 | Colonia Del Sacramento
Meet with your Tour Guide for walking city tour along the cobbled streets of the old town of “Colonia Del Sacramento”. Visit the Spanish and Portuguese Museums and the most important tourist spots of this Old Portuguese City form the XVII century that has been declared Patrimony of Mankind by the UNESCO. Finish your day with a traditional “Mate” tasting and discover the cultural aspects of this typical infusion so widely drank locally.

Day 6 | Montevideo City
After breakfast, transfer to the bus terminal of Colonia to board regular bus to the Capital City of Montevideo.
On arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy lunch at the lively port market.

During the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour of the Old City.
The tour begins at the Port market with a visit to the Carnival Museum to discover the Spanish & African roots of our carnival and learn about the “murgas” & “candombe”.
If you are in Uruguay during Carnival season (late February or early March) you could even participate in one of the “tablados”, “candombe rehearsals” or “Llamadas Parade”!
Continue onto the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art before arriving to the Constitution Sq., the Cathedral and Cabildo.
We will walk along the pedestrian area towards the Torres Garcia Art Museum, one of the most renowned art schools in Uruguay and then visit the Solis Theatre for a visit.
Montevideo used to be surrounded by a wall to protect the first settlers of the capital.
We will cross the Gate of the Old city and finish at the Independence Square where the statue of our national hero “Jose Gervasio Artigas”, guards his mausoleum next to the iconic “Palacio Salvo”.

Day 7 | Trip To Rocha
After breakfast, enjoy a morning bike ride of Modern Montevideo including an exclusive invitation to the studio of highly respected drummer Lobo Núñez, who specializes in Candombe, a form of drumming made popular in the 18th century by the descendants of African slaves.
It has since become a defining feature of Uruguay’s national identity and Lobo has found special acclaim since being visited by Mick Jagger in 2016.
Afternoon transfer to bus station to board a regular bus to Rocha, Castillos.
On arrival, transfer to Estancia Guardia del Monte.

Day 8 | Ranch Experience
We wake up in Guardia Del Monte, a traditional estancia with outstanding landscape beauty and important ecosystems containing a great variety of birds and native forest.
Enjoy a visit to the local Ombu Forest and some quality bird watching along the large area of marshlands and wetlands both of which are teeming with bird life (more than 400 species in this area), otters, coypus and capybaras.
After a typical “asado lunch” enjoy some horseback riding to explore the estancia surroundings.

Day 9 | Cabo Polonio
After breakfast, meet your local guide who will guide you to the small village of Barra de Valizas.
Enjoy a barefoot trek along the coastline and the incredible shifting sand dunes.
Climb the “Buena Vista Hill” and appreciate the gorgeous view of the ocean before continuing to Cabo Polonio (3 hours trek).
After a delicious lunch at a local seaside restaurant, visit the lighthouse and sea lions reserve (one of the biggest ones in South America).
Afternoon 4×4 truck-drive to the main entrance of Cabo Polonio and transfer to the small town of La Paloma.

Day 10 | Bike & Kayak
After breakfast, meet your guide and drive to the lighthouse of La Paloma.
Bike to the Rocha Lagoon, a semi-freshwater lagoon of 72 km2 (28 sq mi). The lagoon has an outlet to the sea during winter months and constitutes a bird paradise with 220 species which have been recorded like migratory waders, Flamingos, Swans, Herons and ducks among others.
This unique protected natural area is part of what we call the wetlands of the “Eastern Biosphere Reserve” internationally recognized within the framework of the Man and the Biosphere (Man and the Biosphere, MAB) of UNESCO since 1976.
Cross the lagoon on kayak or boat (this may vary according to climate and wind) and see various bird species, local wildlife and native vegetation.
On arrival, enjoy a typical picnic lunch and transfer to your hotel in La Barra.
Day 11 | Punta Del Este Experience
At indicated time your guide will pick you up at the hotel for a private full day excursion to Punta del Este, where we will visit the main neighborhoods and residential zones like Beverly Hills.
Admire the Brava beach coast with its spectacular art buildings.
Make a stop in Casapueblo, the majestic architectural masterpiece residence of famed artist Carlos Paez Vilaró, also a Museum. From there you have a magnificent view of Punta Ballena and Portezuelo.

Day 12 | Departure
At indicated time, pick up at your hotel and private transfer to Ezeiza International Airport to take you flight back.
