Day 2 | Bike Around Buenos Aires
Enjoy the best of the city biking the streets of the city with a private guide.
A tour that you cannot miss if you really want to discover all of Buenos Aires in one day!
After a brief historical explanation, we point our wheels south, pedaling through the oldest “barrio” of Buenos Aires: San Telmo, the historic city center.
Our first stop of interest is in Lezama Park where we introduce the first settlement of Buenos Aires and how immigration shaped the city culturally, structurally, demographically, etc.
Ready to ride again, we move further south towards La Bombonera – the Boca Jr soccer team’s stadium.
Eager to explore more, we dive deeper into the city’s Art District of La Boca visiting the famous “caminito.” Surrounded by music, colorful “conventillos” and tango dancers, we discuss precisely why this once busy port turned into the current day “postcard” of Buenos Aires.
Back on our bikes, we cruise towards Puerto Madero, a huge port project that we started in the end of the XIX century yet became obsolete.
After almost 80 years of abandonment, it was redeveloped into the most modern and sophisticated district of Buenos Aires.
We stop for lunch at a typical “parrilla” to refuel and appreciate the art form that is “Asado Argentino” (BBQ). Veggie options available in advance.
Riding around this neighborhood we enter a really particular park:” La Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur.”
This protected ecological reservation has a very peculiar story to tell and is a wonderful escape from the busy “Porteño” life. *Closed on Mondays and muddy conditions*
Prepared to escape the bubble of Puerto Madero, we start heading north to the transportation hub of Retiro where we’ll get a glimpse as to how one travels about the country.
Get a closer look at the English Tower – a monumental clock tower gifted by the English residents of the city commemorating the country’s 100 years of independence.
Venturing even further north, we ride then to Recoleta, the aristocratic neighborhood of Buenos Aires where we step inside the Recoleta Cemetery, an extravagant display of mausoleums with the most important personalities of our history resting there.
Resetting our direction south, we make our way to our last stop of the day located in the very heart of Buenos Aires – Plaza de Mayo.
There, our story concludes as we’ll be able to feel the rich Argentinean history and get an understanding as to why this very spot is, and has always been, the focus point for many public demonstrations.

Day 5 | Hill Frey Trekking
The Cathedral Hill, one of the symbols of Bariloche, is synonym to snow, winter and skiing.
But it is more, much more!
The Cathedral can also delight you in summer or spring in the best way: at its summit is the Frey Refuge, an authentic mountain shelter built on the shore of the Toncek Lagoon, at about two thousand meters above sea level: there the panorama that is appreciated is, almost, beyond explanation. Lakes, valleys and all the hugeness of the Cordillera de los Andes.
The trek begins in the morning, after ascending the mountain in means of elevation with the Rucaco valley on the right and the Tronador hill in the background, dominating the landscape.
The condors, many times, let themselves be seen calmly.
Far and high, they sway with absolute tranquility in the middle of some current of warm air.
After a couple of hours we arrive at the Schmoll Lagoon, with more than crystal clear water.
Immediately the second of the lagoons appears, the Toncek, and on its shores, the Refuge Frey.
It is a place usually used as a base by rock climbing lovers.
That is the time and place to enjoy good pizza, as well as enjoying a well-deserved rest on the shores of the lagoon.
The descent involves returning to the base of Cerro Catedral, which had also been the starting point.
The walk is, at least, inescapable. And unforgettable.
