As a special Argentina welcome, enjoy a wine tasting at JA! – Lo de Joaquin Alberdi, a famous wine store in the heart of Palermo Soho, one of the trendiest neighborhoods in town.
It is for sure one of the best wine experiences in Buenos Aires.

Day 2 | Buenos Aires Experience
Today, explore some of the top spots in Buenos Aires on a private city tour visiting some of the oldest food markets in town & having lunch in an authentic local restaurant.
This tour can be adapted to your personal interests and tastes.
Your guide will pick you up in the morning at the hotel to visit some of the following areas and sites:
Plaza de Mayo is home to the national government palace and the Metropolitan Cathedral. This historical, political, and foundational epicenter of the city is a great starting point for the city tour.
One of the oldest neighborhoods in Buenos Aires is San Telmo, which is a great area to visit if you’re interested in tango and the arts. The antique markets, candle street lighting, cobbled roads, and historic buildings with original facades and décor create a lovely bohemian atmosphere. Sundays buzz with activity as the main antique market comes alive around the Plaza Dorrego. Viist of the San Telmo Market, the oldest one in town!
You can also visit La Boca, a neighborhood famous for its brightly-painted houses and coventillos (communal housing tenements). It’s also home to the legendary Boca Juniors Football Club, where Diego Maradona made his name.
Here in La Boca, we will make a stop for having lunch (not included) at EL OBRERO, a traditional “bodegón” in the city.
A bodegón, is a typical neighborhood restaurant with certain common characteristics. The menu features what has become the local cuisine; a mix of European flavors mainly from Spain and Italy with a unique Argie twist. Then there’s the waiters, who are generally all men, in their forties, fifties and up, often clad in spick and span white uniforms. They are places all full of history and character, which makes them one of a kind.
The same family has been running EL OBRERO since 1954, and a number of celebrities have passed through over the years (check out the photos on the walls). You’ll also see old Boca Juniors soccer jerseys, antique furniture, old tile floors and chalkboards advertising the day’s specials.
We continue to visit the city’s youngest neighborhood: Puerto Madero, which is situated on the riverside along the Río de la Plata. This major gastronomic and business hub is situated in former commercial docks. Along the canals, these former industrial warehouses were converted into elegant bars, eateries, and offices during one of the most successful urban waterfront restoration projects in the world.
Palermo, the largest neighborhood, hosts huge parks and some of Buenos Aires’ trendiest bars, clubs, and fashion boutiques. This neighborhood—which has nearly 350 acres of parks, lakes, and wooded areas—offers a peaceful retreat from the busy city.
And finally, the European style district: Recoleta.
Home to an array of fashionable restaurants, cafés, boutiques, malls, and luxury hotels, which reside along tree-lined avenues.
One of the main attractions, The Cemetery, is the final resting place for generations of well-known Argentineans, including Evita Peron.
After your personalized tour, head back to your hotel to relax.

This is an easy hike within Llao Llao Municipal Park, and it involves walking along trails surrounded by ancient trees.
This place is ideal for contemplating crystal-water lakes and unique panoramic views of Catedral, López and Capilla mountain peaks, among others.
It is also a perfect place to listen to the beautiful sounds of birds and learn about the flora and fauna of the Andean Patagonian Forest.
To finish this experience, we offer a talk about craft brewing, tasting and lunch with cold cuts, goulash with spetzetl and ice cream with red berries.
Whether you like it high on hops or malty, foamy, creamy, flavored with cherry, light or dark – Patagonia offers tasty brews for your enjoyment.
There is simply no other place in the world where you can find such a large variety of quality beers. Not all beers are created equal and we’ve got the very best.
Brewing has often been described as a science and an art. In Patagonia we have worked very hard to combine both the art and the science of brewing.

The trails we will follow for about two hours pose no technical challenge, there are no significant slopes; being quiet and with a little bit of luck, we might even spot some deer or pheasant.

Day 6 | Cooking With Locals By The Lake
To get closer to our lifestyle and costumes, we invite you to share a unique moment in Patagonia with a classic meal and typical products of the region, in the comfort of a local’s own home.
What a better way to get to know from the inside our way of living, as opening our house and sharing, in family, a nice evening with a glass of wine.
You will experience how to prepare the “Curanto”, a unique cooking style of Bariloche.
Native Indian tribes like the Mapuches and the Araucanos have had a profound influence on the Patagonian region. The curanto (a term standing for hot stone) is a typical dish that has its origins from these native Indian tribes.
The cooking process starts by digging a pit in the ground. River stones are then placed on top of a roaring fire. Once the stones are heated, they are then removed from the fire and placed in the pit. A bed of leaves is arranged on top of the stones. A selection of meats and vegetables are then stacked on top of the leaves.
The food that goes into the curanto typically includes beef, lamb, pork, chicken, chorizos (pork sausages), potatoes, sweet potatoes, apples and hollowed out pumpkins stuffed with cheese, cream and peas. The food is then covered with leaves and damp sheets to keep the heat from escaping. The final step is to cover the damp sheets with soil. This results in turning the whole cooking process into something that resembles a pressure cooker.
After a couple of hours, smoke and steam start billowing out of the ground. The end result is a delicious meal with its own uniqueness which includes a hint of smoke and a slight earthy flavor.

The host guide welcomes you to the Estancia and takes you to the Quincho [rustic dining room] where you will be invited to have a hot drink (tea, coffee or mate) accompanied by home-made cakes and pastries.
The walk starts around the main building, the perfect example of a typical Patagonian estancia which was formerly devoted to sheep rearing and nowadays has become the most prestigious Hereford breeding ranch of these latitudes, while still retaining a small herd of sheep.
The footpaths lead through native woodland of lenga and ñire, a habitat for caranchos, Austral parakeets, hares, woodpeckers, eagles and an abundant variety of native flora and fauna. The route may vary according to weather conditions.
After the walk or horse-ride, the group meets up again at the door of the shearing shed. This is a chance to see inside such a shed with all its skilled hands and understand the work of the shearing teams.
Returning to the Quincho where a whole lamb is being roasted on a vertical stake in traditional Patagonian fashion, emphasis is on the history of the place, retelling anecdotes and stories from the early settlers.
