From Mallín Colorado Ecolodge, guests will travel along the scenic shores of Lake General Carrera towards the small town of Puerto Río Tranquilo. Upon arrival, they will board a motorboat to navigate the turquoise waters of the lake and visit the breathtaking Marble Chapels and Cathedrals, extraordinary rock formations naturally sculpted by wind and water over thousands of years.

The smooth marble walls, with shades of white, gray, and blue reflecting in the crystal-clear water, create a truly mesmerizing landscape. During the navigation, guests will have the opportunity to approach the caves and admire the intricate shapes and colors of the marble from up close.

After the experience, they will return to the lodge, enjoying panoramic views of the Patagonian scenery along the way.

In the northern area of Queulat National Park is this 5.6 km path that climbs steeply through the natural woodland, and in its last stretch reaches the Los Pumas Lagoon. The path develops through a staggered route, combining beautiful views of the Lake Risopatron and the deep green forest, and giving way to the so-called Bosque de Transición y de Altura (Woods of Transition and Height). The journey crosses in its highest part – 1,060 m – a wide plateau with spectacular panoramas of the mountain chain that wraps around the narrow Ventisquero Sound.

The tour begins by going through the main streets of the civic district. You will find yourself on the road to Cerro Santa Lucía (emblematic urban park located in the heart of the city), the seat of government called Palacio de la Moneda and the traditional Plaza de Armas. It is in this place where you can see the most diverse and multicultural face of Santiago. In addition, you will find buildings of high historical value, such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Historical Museum and the Central Post Office.
